Welcome to the Merced City School District (MCSD) online registration system. For additional support with the registration process, please click HERE.

[B E F O R E   Y O U   S T A R T]

  1. If you are intending to register for the MCSD Preschool Program, call (209) 385-6619 or complete the preschool application: HERE. Do not use this online registration system to enroll for preschool.
  2. This system is for new students to MCSD elementary/middle schools or students enrolled in previous years.
  3. To maximize your experience, we recommend that you do not use a mobile device. 
  4. You must have a valid personal email address. If this is your first time using this system, you will be creating a new account using a valid email you can access. You must validate your new account before you can continue the registration. 
  5. You must have a valid residence address within MCSD school boundaries. The school locator will show you where your child will enroll. Clicking on this link will open a new tab. You must return to this tab to continue registration. 

 

[G E T T I N G   S T A R T E D]

To register a new student, click the "Enroll a New Student" button. This process takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes.  Each step is saved when you click next. If you are unable to complete the process, you may log out. You may resume by clicking on the "Login" button.

**After you complete the online registration, you are REQUIRED to provide PROOF OF RESIDENCE to your assigned school before the registration is approved.  Other information will also be gathered at the school.

 

[O T H E R   I N F O R M A T I O N]

INTERDISTRICT TRANSFER STUDENTS: If parent/guardian request that a student attend a MCSD school that is not in their district of residence, the inter-district process should be initiated with the district of residence. An approved transfer must be granted. 

This process is intended to be completed by the student's parent or legal guardian. If you are not the parent or legal guardian, please contact the school.
